Welcome to the How to Start Consulting blog!  I hope you enjoy some of our posts and free material.  Let me tell you the story of why I launched this blog.  After working in technology for over 10 years and holding various positions I realized the companies I worked for were making SERIOUS MONEY off of my skills.  It first struck me when I found out the company I worked for was charging our customer $150 per hour for my work and I was NOT getting paid close to that!

At that point I made a decision that has changed my life forever – I began consulting.

At first I picked up a couple side jobs and worked at night for extra cash.  I soon realized how I could make the same amount of money in 1 day that I used to make in 1 week.  Within 12 months I discovered a way to double my income and work less!  That’s right, work less and make more money.  At that point I thought “why isn’t everyone doing this”?

Since I began consulting I have been able to travel with my beautiful wife (Cancun & Jamaica are our favorites), work on interesting projects, give to charity, and my favorite – launch new Internet Start Ups.  Consulting has truly TRANSFORMED our lives.

This success is generated through creating the right team, finding the best customers, and building revenue streams.

After creating my own plan, I want to help others do the same.  With the right plan and mind set, anyone can double their income.
